The chair
comes to you.
scizzahands is a full barbershop built into a converted school bus — clippers, a real chair, and no waiting room. We roll up, you get right.
The Bus
Two years.
One barber. Zero shortcuts.
This is a 1996 Thomas International school bus, bought for $3,000 in Tampa, FL, and gutted down to the frame by one guy with a plan. Two years of solo, budget-built work later, it's a raw, industrial lounge with custom woodwork — less "shuttle," more "cabin in the woods that happens to drive." It shows up wherever you're at: your driveway, your office parking lot, a block party. Same standard, zero commute.
Off-Grid Power
Solar and battery run the whole rig — lighting, a TV, a 12,000 BTU mini-split AC, even the clippers — off a single 15-amp plug. No generator, no noise.
Lounge That Converts
A slide-out couch folds down into a bed with hidden storage underneath, because this bus works as hard off the clock as it does on it.
Built-In Accessibility
The rear garage hauls a dirt bike on a lift — the same lift that doubles as a wheelchair ramp for clients.
DIY Climate Control
Velcro-mounted reflective panels cover every window, dropping interior temps 10–15°F without touching a tool.
